I just read a fic that felt like a punch to the gut in the absolute best way.

It’s called Faith and Deeds by teh_helenables, an AU where Mary Winchester is a regular at a run down but homey grocery store run by Gabriel, Anna, and Castiel. And then, when she sends Dean to the store on an errand for her one day, he comes home with produce Castiel just happened to give him for free.

It’s a really sweet and fluffy piece. And there are these sweet moments throughout the story that makes you wish this could really happen. And that’s why it hurts so much, because the Winchesters are alive and happy.
